Dear Colonial Patron:

When a little white building just off Magnolia and Ridley Aves. in Aldan opened it's doors to the public on September 21, 1940, featuring the brand-new play This Thing Called Love, Colonial Playhouse was born! And now, 70 years later, we're still here, still going strong. As always, we want to thank you for your ongoing patronage, because without your loyal support, there would be no Colonial Playhouse.

Over the years we have tried to bring you the best that local theater has to offer, and provide an alternative to the high-priced professional theaters that is just as good, and just as enjoyable. So it is with great pleasure that we present to you our 2009-2010 season. And, as usual, we're bringing you the great mix of family entertainment you've come to expect at Colonial, very successful - and very entertaining.

Once you review our 2009-2010 shows, we know you'll agree, and what better way to get in on all the fun than to become a Season Ticket Holder here at Colonial? Season tickets are the best way to see all our shows, and by taking advantage of our rock-bottom pricing, you can realize a savings of $10.00 over the box office price. It's like getting one free ticket for each season pass you buy!

In these days of ever-increasing costs, we have kept our prices at a low level for yet another season. This makes an evening at Colonial Playhouse one of the best bargains around. Where else can you get this kind of entertainment, and change back in your pocket? We want you to know that we have listened to you, and we'll continue to offer the kinds of plays you are interested in seeing, as well as the compelling works that challenge us as theater artists. The 2009-2010 season is no exception.

We appreciate all of you who have supported Colonial Playhouse over the years, and thank you in advance for your continued support. We hope to see you at the playhouse real soon!

Sincerely Yours,

The Members of Colonial Playhouse

Your Community Theater!

Colonial Playhouse and You:

68 And Counting!

As we head towards our 69th anniversary, we want to thank you, our subscribers, friends, and neighbors, for your longtime and dedicated support. We couldn't have done it without you....

Colonial Playhouse is proud to bring you the very best in dramatic entertainment. Our 69th year is no exception, and we are delighted to showcase another outstanding season of comedies, dramas, and thrillers that we know you will absolutely love!

So if you're still looking for the best of the best, look no further... it's right here at Colonial Playhouse.

It's still not too late to get your season tickets for the remainder of our 69th Season. Season ticket holders see all our shows at reduced prices, especially with our economical Full (6 tickets) and Half (3 tickets) season ticket plans. And since your tickets can be used for any show, you realize the biggest savings when you take advantage of this great offer!

But, it takes more than just ticket sales to continue the work of the theater, and that's where you come in. We need your support to help us finish the good things we've begun. You can play an important part by becoming a Program Sponsor, or by making a contribution to our Bob Buxton Memorial Fund, which has already financed many of the recent improvements to our building.

This is your community theater, and we're very proud of what we've accomplished over the last 68 years. We couldn't be here without you, and together we can continue to make Colonial Playhouse the true "Showplace of Delaware County."

If you'd like to purchase a season ticket, make a donation, or request more information, please stop by our box office. Or, simply fill out the form here and mail to:
